1 – Once a work order has been reviewed and signed off on by Joomla! Crafters and the customer, any worked asked of Joomla! Crafters from then on will require a “Change” or “New Work” order. We are not petty nor are we talking about changes that will simply take a minute or two to implement. What we are referring to is any work that will take 30 minutes or more or add on items that were not specified or asked for in the original work order. 2 – Joomla! Crafters is in no way responsible for any fraudulent materials, images, video or text that is provided to Joomla! Crafters by the customer. Joomla! Crafters will also never agree to gather or use same said materials. All materials used in any development project must either be: - Paid for through the correct distributors
- Be accompanied by written permissions of the proper owners
- Be proven to reside under the “Public Domain” laws governing any particular media type.
“Public Domain” refers to any media that copyright laws have expired on and that descendants of the original material have neglected to renew. A famous example of a now “Public Domain” piece of media is the original cult classic movie “Night of the Living Dead”. This and any other media falling under the “Public Domain” laws can be used in part or whole by anyone for any purpose. 3 – Joomla! Crafters will not knowingly do jobs for anyone that is asking us to create, partake, develop or help in the process of ANYTHING illegal. This means, but is not limited to, subjects dealing in: - Spam
- Scams
- Child pornography
- Drugs
- Gambling (though not illegal everywhere)
- Spyware
- Phishing
We apologize to any lost customers for this, but we have been approached for many of the items in the above list and want our customers to know that these issues will not be indulged in or tolerated by Joomla! Crafters, its owners, or by any employee or outside help that we may need to involve on our work. 4 – “Customer Reviews” - We will never require a customer to write one for us. However, if a customer is kind enough to do so, we ask that the customer never use their full name, company name, or provide any identifiable information about themselves in the review. This falls under our privacy policy in that we do not like to keep any personal information on our server or website that might become a liability. The customer, however, CAN agree to allow Joomla! Crafters to give potential new customers a phone number, email address or other contact information of their choosing to help Joomla! Crafters in gaining new clientele. Again, Joomla! Crafters will never require this. Also, we will never filter out bad reviews since we believe in honesty and open communication, but we will not allow any review that contains profanity or otherwise coarse language. Not even if you attempt to mask it. For example, you cannot use the “F” word by putting an “*” in place of any of the letters. While we have not had a bad review sor case/s in which we had to offer up a refund as of yet, in the case that this may occur we plan to keep things civil on both parts.
