There is s company out there, for now we'll call them StayMommy, that does offer you hosting and domain registration. While they are a great top level registrar and registering your domain with them is an excellent idea, StayMommy's hosting is NOT recommended. They tend to put all your hosting on very cramped, poorly monitored shared servers and we have never had luck with even the simplest sites loading quickly. We have personally worked on sites that have been hosted at StayMommy and all those customers complain to us constantly about how slow their site loads and runs. All I can do is explain why that is and say "I told you so".
Please, if you have not yet decided on a host, choose Hostgator or The Planet.
But always feel free to use StayMommy as your registrar, they actuall have the best tool set in the business for domain control.
